Patented solution A licence for those who want to be the first

A new format of visual
communication

The curved form of Human Design Board is not an adaptation — it’s a new standard.

A full-height surface, from top to bottom, with no strain or awkward angles. It improves comfort, increases engagement, and reduces fatigue.

It eliminates the typical issues of flat boards:

  • discomfort when writing at the top and bottom edges,
  • hand strain from unnatural flat-surface writing,
  • underuse of the board area — the top and bottom often go untouched.

More About License

In 2024, the board with an anatomically curved surface received the international Red Dot Award for its innovative shape, expressive design, and refined ergonomics.

For over 20 years, while producing boards for education and business, I kept asking myself: Can boards be different?
We began searching for a form that would work with the human body — not against it. My experience and passion for innovation led to a truly new solution.

At Paperworld 2019 in Frankfurt, we presented flipcharts with a curved surface. One visitor said, “In 25 years — this is the first truly new idea I’ve seen.”

That moment sparked an idea that would evolve into a patented technology. Today, the technology is protected in four major jurisdictions, has won international recognition, and is scaling globally through a licensing model.

Patents and the Path to the Product.

The idea for the anatomically curved surface came from real-world experience. I saw how uncomfortable flat boards were to use — how they caused physical strain and limited visibility.

This observation became the starting point for a technological solution that would later receive international recognition.

Between 2020 and 2024, we secured patents in Ukraine, the EU, the US, and Canada.

In 2023, a leading North‑American office‑supply retailer launched a pilot using our technology in the United States and Canada.

And in 2024, the product was honored with the Red Dot Award and became part of the permanent exhibition at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
